HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We and our affiliates and service providers use personal information for our legitimate business purposes, including those specifically described below. We engage in these activities to manage our contractual or other relationship with you (including providing services to you), to comply with a legal obligation and/or because we have a legitimate business interest. We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize the Service (for example, by generating analytics about how our users browse and interact with the Service).

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We may share your personal information with third parties to help us use your personal information, as described above. For example, we use Squarespace to power our website functionality—you can read more about how Squarespace uses your personal information here: https://www.squarespace.com/privacy.

If we reorganize or sell all or a portion of our assets, undergo a merger or are acquired by another entity, we may transfer your personal information to the successor entity. If we go out of business or enter bankruptcy, your personal information would be an asset transferred or acquired by a third party.

You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that the transferee may decline to honor commitments we made in this Privacy Policy. Finally, we may also share your personal information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

DO NOT TRACK

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will revise this Privacy Policy accordingly.

JURISDICTION AND CROSS-BORDER TRANSFER

Your personal information may be stored and processed in any country where we have facilities or in which we engage service providers, and by using the Service you consent to the transfer of information to countries outside of your country of residence, including the United States, which may have data protection rules that are different from those of your country. In certain circumstances, courts, law enforcement agencies, regulatory agencies, or security authorities in those other countries may be entitled to access your personal information.

OPTIONS REGARDING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

If you have an account on the Service, you may at any time review or change the information in your account or terminate your account by emailing us at info@rehealthcollaborative.org or by updating your account information directly in the Service. Upon your request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and personal information from our active databases. However, some information may be retained in our files to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our Terms of Service and/or comply with legal requirements.

MAILS AND OTHER COMMUNICATIONS

If you no longer wish to receive correspondence, emails, or other communications from a third party, you are responsible for contacting the third party directly.

At present, we do not send mass emails. If we do begin sending mass emails through a third party service, we will revise this Privacy Policy accordingly.

DATA RETENTION

We will retain your personal information for as long as needed or permitted in light of the purpose(s) for which it was obtained. The criteria used to determine our retention periods include the length of time we have an ongoing relationship with you, when we have a legal obligation to which we are subject, or as advisable in light of legal requirements.

THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES

The Service may contain links to third-party websites and applications of interest, including advertisements and external services, that are not affiliated with us. After you have used these links to leave the Service, any information you provide to these third parties is not covered by this Privacy Policy, and we cannot protect the safety and privacy of information that you provide to a third party outside of the Service. Before visiting and providing any information to any third-party websites or applications, you should inform yourself of the privacy policies and practices (if any) of the third party responsible for that website or application, and should take those steps necessary, in your discretion, to protect the privacy of your information. We are not responsible for the content or privacy and security practices and policies of any third parties, including other sites, services, or applications that may be linked to or from the Service.

Any changes or modifications will be effective immediately upon posting the updated Privacy Policy on the Service, and you waive the right to receive specific notice of each such change or modification. You are encouraged to periodically review this Privacy Policy to stay informed of updates. You will be deemed to have been made aware of, will be subject to, and will be deemed to have accepted the changes in any revised Privacy Policy by your continued use of the Service after the date such revised Privacy Policy is posted.
